Daily Animal interaction as students explore a variety of animals and their natural insulators, fur, hair, wool.  What other thing keep them warm? Does movement play a role, environment?  What types of things in the environment do wild animals use to stay warm.  Learn about hibernation and climate and why that matters.  This class will have a variety of different hands on experiments each week to demonstrate, insulators, and how climate and environment play a part in animals wintering over.  We will visit the horses and learn all about horse hair and why confined horses may need a blanket but a field horse does not.
